Μετά την επιτυχημένη πρώτη έκδοσή του τον Μάρτιο του 2007, η θεσμοθέτηση του ΟΠΑ (on πerformance art) αποτελεί πλέον γεγονός.
Το έκδηλο ενδιαφέρον του κόσμου για την τέχνη της performance, η συμμετοχή νέων καλλιτεχνών αλλά και ιστορικών προσωπικοτήτων του χώρου και η υποστήριξη δημόσιων και ιδιωτικών φορέων, καθώς και των media, διαμόρφωσαν ένα σταθερό σημείο συνάντησης της τέχνης του περφόρμανς στην χώρα μας και στον υπόλοιπο κόσμο.

Προτάσεις και δυνατότητες της σύγχρονης περφόρμανς
Με κύρια θεματική την τάση για διασκευή στη σύγχρονη τέχνη, το ΟΠΑ 0.2 εξερευνά την έννοια της «μεταπαραγωγής» (Postproduction), όπως την προτείνει ο Γάλλος θεωρητικός Nicolas Bourriaud και σε συνεργασία με την Art Athina τo Bios παρουσιάζει ζωντανές περφόρμανς, προβολές, αφιερώματα, διαλέξεις και ανοιχτές συζητήσεις.
Η φετινή Διεθνής Συνάντηση Σύγχρονης Τέχνης, Art-Athina 2009, φιλοξενεί στον εκθεσιακό της χώρο στο Κλειστό Φαλήρου (TaekwonDo/Ολυμπιακά Ακίνητα) ένα μέρος των περφόρμανς του φεστιβάλ.

• Ενότητα με θέμα τον Παγανισμό σε επιμέλεια του Θανάση Μουτσόπουλου
• Live performances σε 2 χώρους, BIOS και Tae Kwon Do (ART ATHINA 2009) από καλλιτέχνες όπως State of Sabotage, Πάνος Χαραλάμπους, Νίκος Τρανός, The Boy, Ευαγγελία Μπασδέκη, Peader Kirk, Γιάννης Μελανίτης κ.α.
• Συμμετοχές από Μεγάλη Βρετανία, Ιταλία, Καναδά, Ιαπωνία, Βουλγαρία, Σουηδία, Σιγκαπούρη, Βέλγιο, Λιθουανία, Γαλλία και Ελλάδα.
• 20 ΜΑΙΟΥ, στην έναρξη του ΟΠΑ 0.2 στο BIOS, 11 performances από όλον τον κόσμο
• 21 ΜΑΙΟΥ, στην έναρξη της ART ATHINA στο Tae Kwon Do, 10 performances από όλον τον κόσμο
• Στα πλαίσια της ART ATHINA στο Tae Kwon Do παρουσίαση εισηγήσεων και ομιλίες από διακεκριμένους θεωρητικούς και ακαδημαϊκούς.
