Ένα ανοιχτής φύσης μουσικό πρότζεκτ κάνει την πρώτη του ζωντανή συνάντηση στο Bios. Η Marlia με ιδιαίτερη χαρά υποδέχεται ταλαντούχους καλλιτέχνες για μια ζωντανή μουσικο -εικαστική παράσταση μέσα απ’ την οποία αναζητά ερεθίσματα για βαθύτερη σκέψη και δημιουργία. Η δυναμική ομάδα που την περιβάλλει, τη βοηθά με τις νέες ιδέες και τη ζωτικότητα της να ονειρευτεί νέους ορίζοντες διαφορετικών διαστάσεων.
Το νταούλι και τα κλασικά έγχορδα σε συνδυασμό με τα ψηφιακά σύγχρονα μέσα (loop station και vocal processor), δίνουν τη δυνατότητα στην ομάδα να πειραματιστεί και να αυτοσχεδιάσει. Χωρίς προηχογραφημένες μελωδίες, οι μουσικοί απολαμβάνουν την ελευθερία της στιγμής και την αλληλεπίδραση με το περιβάλλον και το κοινό.
Γύρω απ’ την κιθάρα και τη φωνή της Marlia, η Μαρίζα Βαμβουκλή στο ακορντεόν, ο Άδωνης Βαρδαραμάτος στο βιολί, ο Σταύρος Παργινός στο βιολοντσέλο και ο Στράτος Κρυσταλλίδης με τον Ανδρέα Τριανταφυλλόπουλο στα κρουστά. Οι δύο ζωγράφοι, Laura Pérez Ortega και Maria Pérez-Cecilia Anton θα επενδύσουν ζωντανά την παράσταση με τις δημιουργίες τους.
Με προσωπικές συνθέσεις εμπνευσμένες τόσο απ’ τη ζωή στην πόλη και την άμεση ανάγκη να ζήσουμε όσο πιο αρμονικά γίνεται με τη φύση, όσο κι από ιστορίες αγάπης που αγγίζουν διαχρονικά την ψυχή μας, η Μarlia επιχειρεί να μας θυμίζει ότι το οφείλουμε στον εαυτό μας να απεγκλωβιστούμε από τα προσωπικά μας δεσμά να αναθεωρήσουμε την πορεία μας, έτσι ώστε να μην ζούμε τη ζωή κάποιου άλλου, αλλά τη δική μας. Γιατί είναι θέμα χρόνου για το καθετί να ανθίσει.

Marlia open project “Realisation of Thyself I”
A musical project open to all artists begins its journey at Bios in Athens. With particular joy, Marlia welcomes talented artists for a live musical-painting show through which she seeks stimuli for deeper thought and creation. The dynamic artists that surround her offer new ideas and their vigor, so that for one more time she will attempt to dream “horizons of different dimensions in worlds never seen before”.
The traditional daouli (also known as davul) and the classical string instruments in combination with the digital contemporary technology (loop stations and vocal processors), allow the team to experiment and improvise. Without any prerecorded melodies, they unfold their wings to the place where one can respect the world and the environment around him, “see the mistakes that he makes in life, be willing to retreat, let his ego die, be proud to make a stand, let his faith take the lead and withstand a tough day because he knows he’s free”. “We seek endlessly what we don’t own and once we get it, it doesn’t matter any more”. Because it’s just a matter of time for everything to blossom…
Around Marlia (singing/guitar), we proudly present Mariza Vamvoukli (accordion), Adonis Vardaramatos (violin), Stauros Parginos (cello) and Stratos Krystallidis and Andreas Triantafyllopoulos (percussion), as well as two painters that will accompany the concert with their live creations, graduates of the School of Fine Arts, Maria Pérez-Cecilia Anton και Laura Pérez Ortega.
With personal compositions inspired both from life in the city and the direct necessity to live as one with nature, and also from love stories that always touch our soul, Marlia reminds us that we owe it to ourselves to realize that we have become entrapped in this way of life, thinking this is the only way. “It seems that somebody else has chosen life for us. We must regain our power and reconsider our path”, so that we don’t live somebody else’s life, but ours. Because it’s just a matter of time for everything to blossom…
